Dingač Pelješac 750ml
Vinarija Dingač Pelješac is a classic Croatian red wine from the celebrated Dingač appellation on the Pelješac Peninsula, one of the country’s first protected wine regions (PDO). Made from 100% Plavac Mali, this wine reflects the rugged coastal terroir — steep limestone slopes, abundant sunshine and cooling sea breezes — that give Pelješac reds their bold structure and intense fruit character.
In the glass it shows a deep ruby hue, opening with rich aromas of ripe blackberry, plum and dark cherry, alongside subtle notes of spice and Mediterranean herbs. The palate is full and layered, offering firm yet ripe tannins, balanced acidity and a long, expressive finish that pairs beautifully with hearty foods.
This style of wine complements grilled meats, braised lamb, aged cheeses and tomato-based dishes, making it a versatile choice for food-centric occasions. Imported to Australia and stored locally, Vinarija Dingač Pelješac is a standout example of Croatian and Balkan red wine for drinkers seeking expressive, terroir-driven Plavac Mali.
