Shipping & Delivery Policy

Podrum Food & Liquor uses the Australia Post data base and will only ship orders to a valid address within Australia. Podrum Food & Liquor will use multiple shipping couriers and carriers to deliver your item. This is may include but not limited to Australia Post, Aramex, DHL, StarTrack, DHL Express, TOLL, Couriers Please, Linfox, TNT.

WE DO NOT SHIP TO PO BOXES

Podrum food & Liquor promotes the responsible service of alcohol.

There is no minimum order.

According to Australian law, it is illegal for anyone under the age of 18 (eighteen) to order or receive alcohol. We dispatch orders Monday to Saturday and, depending on your location, use the services of Sendle or Australia Post.  Deliveries are dispatched within 24 hours and for most Australian cities, please allow 2-4 working days and 7 days for rural and regional areas.

All Sydney metro deliveries are usually next day but we do not offer same day delivery. 

When available Podrum Food & Liquor may use their own private services to deliver next day to certain Sydney locations.

In the event of extreme weather conditions, we reserve the right to hold your order until such time as the weather is favourable to transport it. We will contact you by telephone to arrange an alternative delivery time.

Delivery Charges 

Delivery is FREE for all orders over $200.

For orders under $200, a flat fee of $15 will be applied.

Express Delivery

If you select Express Shipping, we will always aim to dispatch your order the same business day when placed before our daily cut-off time. In most cases, Express orders are delivered next business day to NSW, VIC and ACT, within two business days to QLD, SA, TAS and NT, and approximately three business days to WA.

Please note these timeframes are estimates provided by Australia Post and are not guaranteed, particularly during peak periods or regional disruptions. Express Shipping is not included in our FREE delivery offer for orders over $200 — we offer free Standard Shipping only, and we do not provide free Express delivery under any circumstances.

Same Day Delivery & Click and Collect

At this stage, we do not offer same day delivery. However, we are currently working through licensing requirements and operational setup to introduce a Click & Collect option in the near future. Once approved and live, customers will be able to place orders online and collect them directly. We’ll share updates as soon as this service becomes available.

Things to check prior.

Tracking
If your item was sent using a tracked service you can track it to check the status.

Card or notification received
Your item may have been delivered to the Post Office. Check if a notification card is in your letterbox or under your door, or if you’ve received an email, app or SMS notification.

Accepted on your behalf
Check if someone else at home or work accepted or signed for the item on your behalf. If you live or work in a large building, check with building management or the mailroom to see if they have it.

Delivered to a safe place
Check if your item has been left in a safe place. This could be under or behind something, or in your mailbox.

Address details
Check the address details with the sender – they may have made a mistake when addressing the item.

Known service delays
If you are sending or waiting on an item from overseas, you can check for any known international delays by viewing our international updates. Domestic service disruptions are listed on our domestic updates page.

We will work with our delivery partners on tracking down your parcel.
