Fiegl Pinot Grigio Villa Dugo is a fresh, mineral-driven Italian white wine with distinctly Slovenian family roots, produced by the Fiegl — Figelj — family in the borderlands of Friuli Venezia Giulia.
The Fiegl winery is based in Oslavia, known in Slovenian as Oslavje, beside the Slovenian border. Although officially a Product of Italy, the family proudly identifies as part of the historic Slovenian minority in the region, and their legal family surname is Figelj — a name with origins in Slovenia’s Goriška Brda.
Made from Pinot Grigio grown across three vineyard sites within the DOC Friuli Isonzo zone, Villa Dugo is fermented and matured in stainless steel to preserve freshness, fruit and minerality. The different ages of the vineyards contribute additional depth and complexity while retaining the crisp, approachable character that makes Pinot Grigio so popular.
