Želja 7 Year Old Plum Brandy (šljivovica) is a premium aged fruit brandy from Podrum Želja, crafted in Nanomir, a village in the Mionica region of western Serbia known for centuries of orchard tradition and fruit brandy culture. Šljivovica — the classic Serbian plum rakija — is deeply woven into Balkan heritage as both a celebratory spirit and an everyday toast.

Produced from carefully selected plums grown in the distillery’s own orchards, this rakija is double-distilled in copper stills to capture pure fruit intensity, then aged for seven years in oak barrels. The extended maturation gives the spirit a dark golden colour with nuanced balance between rich fruit character and oak-influenced complexity.

In the glass, Želja 7 Y.O. opens with expressive notes of ripe plum, dried fruit and warm vanilla-spice, supported by subtle toasted oak layers on both aroma and palate. The finish is smooth, full-bodied and lingering — the kind of depth that rewards slow sipping and thoughtful conversation.
