Stara Pesma Orahovac is a traditional Balkan walnut liqueur, produced using a method similar to other European walnut spirits made from unripe (green) walnuts infused in alcohol, creating a dark, aromatic and bittersweet liqueur.

In Serbia and across the Balkans, walnut liqueurs (known as orahovac / orahovača) are commonly made by macerating green walnuts in a spirit base such as šljivovica (plum brandy), often with the addition of sugar or honey to balance the natural bitterness.
