Božica (Божица) literally means “little goddess” in Macedonian — a name that reflects the refined, complex character of this aged rakija from Popova Kula Winery, made in the Tikveš wine region and recognised for blending tradition with layered flavour.

Unlike young clear rakija, Božica is an extra-old golden rakija produced through the distillation of fine wine and aged for years in oak barrels previously used for barrique wines, resulting in a rich, well-structured spirit with depth and balance.

In the glass it displays a warm amber-gold hue with a complex aroma of dried fruit, gentle oak, spice and mellow sweetness. On the palate, it’s smooth yet expressive, combining rich fruit character with soft spice and a long, elegant finish — making it ideal as an aperitif or digestif.
