The Fiegl family proudly identifies as part of the historic Slovenian minority in Italy, and their actual family surname is Figelj. The winery sits just hundreds of metres from the Slovenian border, in a landscape where language, families, food and winemaking traditions have crossed modern borders for generations.
Made from Ribolla Gialla — known across the border in Slovenia as Rebula — this macerated wine captures the character of this unique cross-border wine region.
