Bosio Passato Barbera d'Alba 750ml
Bosio Passato Barbera d'Alba 750ml
Luca Bosio, the producer of this limited edition wine, has crafted a Barbera 100% using grapes from the Canale cultivation area, which is situated at an altitude of 300m above sea level. The vineyards are trained using the Guyot system and are grown in clayey-calcareous soil, which lends the wine its distinct character. With an alcohol content of 15.5%, this ruby red wine has a total residual sugar of 3g/l and is produced in a limited quantity of 6,666 bottles.
The vinification process involves a 10-day skin contact period using stainless steel vats and selected yeasts. The wine is then aged for 6 months in 5000 L Slavonian oak barrels, followed by a short period in a bottle. The result is a wine with a dry taste and silky tannin. Luca Bosio recommends serving the wine at a temperature of 18° C and pairing it with meat dishes like brasato or grilled meats. Overall, this limited edition wine is a testament to Luca Bosio's expertise in winemaking and his commitment to producing only the finest quality wines.
