The Balkan Spring White Wine Pack is a four-bottle journey through some of the most exciting white wine styles of the Balkans and its neighbouring wine regions. Curated for spring and warmer-weather drinking, the collection moves from intensely aromatic indigenous varieties to elegant European classics.
From Macedonia, Tikveš Temjanika Special Selection showcases 100% Temjanika, one of the Balkans' great aromatic white varieties. Produced in the Tikveš wine region, it offers pronounced floral character including elderflower, violet and rose alongside fresh tangerine and citrus notes.
Representing Serbian wine is Kovačević Riesling, produced from vineyards on the southern slopes of Fruška Gora in Serbia's Srem region. Green apple, apricot, lime, ripe quince and honey character combine with a rounded palate and long fruit-driven finish.
From Ilok, Croatia, TRS Genero brings another dimension to the pack. This dry white is a blend of Graševina and Chardonnay, matured for a year in new oak barrels. The winery describes green apple, pear and pineapple alongside vanilla, marzipan and almond, with refreshing acidity and a fuller palate.
Completing the selection is Fiegl Chardonnay Villa Dugo, grown within the DOC Friuli Isonzo area of Italy by the Fiegl/Figelj family near the Slovenian border. Fermentation and lees ageing take place in stainless steel, creating a fresh, dry Chardonnay characterised by white flowers, citrus and distinctive mineral character.
