The SR whole black truffles are carefully selected and preserved to maintain their exceptional taste. Carefully packed & preserved in air tight glass jar, they're fully imported from Serbia and each jar contains 35 grams of fresh black Tuber Avestium variety truffles; this usually equates to 2-3 whole truffles. 

The SR truffles have a slightly stronger taste than many others on the Australian market and we always recommend sparingly adding truffles slowly to reach your desired taste.

Properly storing and handling fresh truffles is crucial to ensure their quality and longevity. Fresh truffles should be kept in it's airtight jar and stored in the refrigerator once received. If you damage or choose to not use your jar then smother the truffle's in olive oil, wrap in a paper towel and place in a airtight container and back into the fridge.

Once opened, they should be consumed within one week.
We always recommend washing the truffles prior to cooking with them.
